Why do we love working with 5-star hotels? It's not just about the luxury.
Over the years, I've had the opportunity to visit and work with some wonderful hotels, and one thing I've learned is that a great 5-star hotel offers far more than lovely rooms, impressive architecture and exceptional food.
Of course, those things matter. Beautifully designed spaces, quality furnishings, wonderful facilities and attention to detail all contribute to the guest experience, but for me, the real value is often what happens behind the scenes.
When you're organising a corporate event, leadership retreat, board meeting or private celebration, there are an enormous number of moving parts, and one of the biggest advantages of working with a well established 5-star hotel is the expertise and resources they can bring together under one roof.
Depending on the property, you may have experienced event coordinators, florists, table designers, AV technicians, logistics teams, drivers, security and, of course, highly trained hospitality staff who understand exactly what excellent service looks like, which as you can imagine makes a big difference to the ebb and flow of your event.
Need to change the room layout at short notice, adjust the dinner arrangements, welcome an unexpected guest, organise a private transfer or accommodate a last-minute request, does that ring a bell?
Having experienced people on site who know the property, understand the standards expected and can work together to find a solution is incredibly valuable.
Now, does every event need a 5-star hotel, absolutely not, we've found some incredible smaller venues and unusual locations that offer something completely different with passionate hospitality staff doing everything to make your event a success. The important thing is choosing the right environment and partners for what you're trying to achieve.
